Do I need to leave the house during treatment?
Only during application, and then only about 30 minutes for indoor work to dry. Exterior perimeter treatment: you don't need to leave at all — kids and pets stay indoors until the exterior spray dries (30–60 minutes). Full-home evacuation isn't required for standard IPM service.
What if my pet licks a treated area?
The products we use at Spot On are formulated to be low-toxicity to pets at the concentrations applied. A pet licking a treated baseboard once won't cause harm. If your pet consumed a large amount of a gel bait station, call the ASPCA Poison Control (1-888-426-4435) as a precaution. Adverse events are extremely rare with modern IPM chemistry.
